Show 1: Mermaids

I chose this program because it is something that I have always liked. Mermaids, like many other mythological creatures, may be real or not. Not everything must be seen "to believe", that is why this subject caught my attention, because it goes in order to investigate strange events in the sea, since at sea many things have not yet been discovered, is very immense and Deep this place, why can not there be mermaids?

Show 2: Life at vet U

"From dogs and cats, to horses, cows and zebras, the students are constantly challenged to be prepared for anything - whether it be spaying and neutering, births, surgeries or routine checkups."

I think it's one of the best shows I could see at this stage. I am starting my studies in this career, and this program helps to understand how to work as a team, how to react to complicated situations, and also to learn how they work. It is a very interesting program and according to what I want.

Show 3:  Wild Kingdom

I chose this program, because I always like to see the natural habitat of wild animals, how they lived, and how they relate. In addition you can see in this program the influence of man in some habitat, or the preservation of a species in extinction.

Show 4: Monsters inside me

I think this program is very interesting and also very important for society. There is not much knowledge about the parasites that a human can get or even our pets, it is very important to find out about this, to know the symptoms and to act in time to save lives.

My Life's Main Events

November 1995



First... i was born in Santiago of Chile, I was the second child that my parent had. My big brother is two years old and one month older than me, and my younger brother is seven years younger than me.

Summary 1999

We traveled together with my parents and uncles to "Viña del mar" for the first time for me. 
Here we are in the front of the clock.








March 2001 enter primary school.

In my first year of school i had my first dance performance, on 2001. I really like dancing, so that was great for me...
In 2013 i had my senior dance performance in high school, and i felt the same.

December 2001

Last Christmas with my maternal family.
In this year mi grand mother die on 26 of december and little by little my uncles leave the house and two years later we also.

 

 
 October 2005: Halloween

Every year we visited my paternal grandmother on special days, and those year we went to celebrate Halloween all their grandchildren and children, we were more than forty people only in the paternal family.







September 2014

The last birthday with my paternal grandmother. We celebrate each year her birthday and we went the greatest of his children and grandchildren.

december 2015

A week before Christmas, a poddle ran through the streets of my villa, we welcomed him for a while and we looked for his possible owner, nobody ever claimed it, until today he is part of the family. In January 2016 we gave her a partner and girlfriend.

February and March 2016
My first cosplay and my first year in University.
In this anime expo I was dressed in "team magma" with friends and family, it was fun.

1. What's been the role of climate change in the development of humans?

Climate fluctuation widened around 800.000 years ago. The fastest brain size increase in early humans ocurred during the era of greatest climate fluctuation.
Later, Earth's elongated orbit around the sun during this time led to a long period of arid-moist fluctuation in Africa. Important changes in behavior, associated with the origin of homo sapiens, also ocurred in Africa.
On the other hand, between 90,000 and 70,000 years ago, white mudcracks in an old african lake bed indicates severe drought. Due to widespread droughts and climate fluctuation during this time, the human species may have been reduced to no more than 10.000 adults of reproductive age.

Homo sapiens almost becomes extinct!

2. In your opinion, what is the most significant milestone for the human evolution? Why?
In my opinion, the most important milestone in human evolution is when he learns to control fire, because, control of fire provide a new tool with several uses-including cooking, which led to a fundamental change in the early human diet or to find safety from predators, among other things.

3. Which early human species was thought to be the first to use tools made from stone?
Was Homo habilis, this species was thought to represent the first stone toolmaker.

4. Who were the first human species to travel to and live in Europe? When?
Homo Heidelbergensis, these were the first early humans to venture into the cold latitudes of europe, where there is evidence that they were the first species to build shelters and hunt big game animals with wooden spears.
About 700.000 to 200.000 years ago.

5. Which species survived for the longest time? For how long?
Was the Homo Erectus, it was the longest-lived species on our family tree, surviving more than nine times as long as our own species.
Survived for 1.747.000 years.
Between about  1.89 million and 143.000 years ago.

My violin 4/4 :

What it is? The violin is a stringed musical instrument comprising four strings tuned. It is the smallest and highest-tuned member of the violin family of string instruments, which also includes the viola, cello and double bass. (http://www.theviolinsite.com/history.html)

When you got it? i have this instrument since 2010. My parents gave me on my birthday, after a year in my school orchestra. I love my violin.

How you use it? well... i use it  appropriately use a violin. I play violin in my free time, but now i don't have much free time to play the violin as before.

How often you use it? Before I practiced every weekend and wednesday afternoon during the workshop orchestra. But now I practice when I remember those old days, because it is not the same without the orchestral ensemble.

Why you like it? I like this instrument because it is one of those who can take me to another world with only a melody, like the piano, harp or flute, and I intend to get all those instruments someday, and lear to play them. I like listening to classical and Nordic interpretations of these instruments.

What life would be like without it? Between human evolution, one of the few things i admire, is the creation of instruments to play melodies, the world would be so empty without instruments, stringed, air, percussion, etc. The violin is one of them, and without it, many classic and very beautiful compositions would be lost.

This is the type video that i like see. Ever i see videos about rescue animals  because i like see how the ordinary people give the best of their for save to another living being. They suffer too and live like anyone, and need our help.

Greenpeace in action

This is a incredible association that everyone should support. They take care of protect, help, save and give support to the animals as endangered species or stray animals. I will try to help this association with money or donation, i would be part of this, to be possible.

Veterinary Operation and Surgery

In this video you can see how the veterinarians operate on a horse. Is a tipically procedure in a large animal as the horse. 

as students of veterinary medicine we should be capable of work and know the steps to follow, well the animal depend to we.

Question and Answers (my opinion about...)

What is your opinion about killing stray dogs?

I think that is not right and Is not the solution. I think that the municipality or government not take responsibility for them. They should look for other solution and regularize the illegal hunting in the street. Is not found of the stray dogs live like.
All starts with responsible ownership of the people, and sterilize stray dogs. Very preople make campaing and collection for buy eat, vaccines and sterilization of pray dogs.

We must support this cause.













What is your opinion about child labor?


 I´m completely desagreement with this. Them force to work and lost his infancy. Children have a right to learn and play in living with other children, they must first learn to live and enjoy.












What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana?

I suppose that if legalized would not have big changes. Many people consume drugs, and the marijuana is not exception. Until could be used like economic income! Also many people used and need this plant for medical issues.





What is your opinion about recycling?

I'm convinced that is the best solution to clean the world, above all inorganic litter. Contaminated soil is infertile, this produces the death of the habitats and his species. The same applies with seabed and his fauna.

What is your opinion about legalizing abortion in some cases?

I´m agree about legalizing abortion in some case like rape or therapeutic problem. Many children don´t have home nor family, and for those women (above everything the rape) that did not want that, could bring more children without home and without love. On the other hand a mother should be able to decide if want or can live with a son/daughter that will depending to the medicine every time, or if the birth is not sure, life threatening to the mother, or is little viable.

my prom 

My name is Evelyn Silva but you can say me Eevee. I was born in Santiago, Chile in 1995. At elementary school, I studied at Polivanlente Domingo Matte Mesias in Puente Alto. I finish my high school in the same place and I graduated on November, 2013.

On summer of 2014 I worked for a short time like packer, it was my first job. Then I studied in the "preuniversitario Pedro de Valdivia".

On march of 2016 I started to studied Veterinary Medicine at the Veterinary Sciences faculty and currently I started the second semester. 

Since i was born, i lives with my parents and my two brothers in Puente Alto. They are the most important to me. Also i have seven pets: Two dogs, Two catitas, one turtle and two hamsters. they are very beautiful.

I had three but two died :'(

I love the music, sing, draw and paint. I like the rock, metal, pop, and orchestral music. 

I play the violin and piano. In my high school period i was member of the Matte Mesias's orchestra since 2010 until 2014.
